         Collecting Tips

Research

1)  Visit Stub Sites to see what web-sites may help you.

    2)  Check the web-sites of the teams involved in the event.

       3)  Check your local library for old newspapers on microfilm.

Identification

A fellow collector of ours has compiled an archive of information on early 20th Century Baseball Stubs to help ID the age of some difficult tickets.  Feel free to contact him for his services.  Sirkinlaw@aol.com

Storage and Display

1) atrueblueguy@aol.com puts his tickets in baseball card screw downs then displays them in wall mounts made by Pennzoni Display Co.  The wall mount holds 55 screw downs.  Their advertisements are on the last few pages of Sports Collectors Digest or call 1-800-206-6852.

2) S7n1s26d29@aol.com (bostix) puts his tickets in note books and plastic pages used for paper money from a coin shop.  Plastic pages with multiple sizes and shapes can also be found at baseball card shops.

3) Pro-Mold now makes hard plastic holders specifically for tickets.

4) The Ticket Treasury includes software and special sheets for the storage of your collection.  Check it out at www.TheTicketTreasury.com.
